Arjan is a Dutch painter. He was born 16-04-53 Amsterdam, Holland. His occupations are dental engineer-painter-manufacturer of fine jewelry. Arjan started this collection "Les Femmes d'Arjan" in 1998, at this moment the collection consists of more than 60 fine oil paintings. Although he began in black and white, it was only later in 2000 that he added a touch of red and in the year 2002, red is used as background and even in clothes. "Les femmes d'Arjan" is an ode to the erotic and sensual female sex, but never vulgar or pornographic. The painter is inspired mostly by European celebrities from glossy magazines or scans from the internet as well by his own models.
